What's new for 2025?

The lead headline is that Ford is adding a performance-oriented Lobo trim to the 2025 Maverick lineup. It's equipped with a 238 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, all-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission. The Lobo will give performance-minded Grove City buyers a lowered suspension, 19-inch rally-inspired wheels and upgraded brakes. The rest of the Maverick lineup will feature a styling refresh with a redesigned front bumper and grille, new headlamp covers and new wheel designs.

A large 13.2-inch infotainment screen replaces last year's 8.0-inch screen and the Maverick will now come with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. The hybrid powertrain will offer Harrisville buyers available all-wheel drive and when it's equipped with the towing package it can tow up to 4,000 pounds. A 360-degree camera will now be available and so will a practical rear camera system that make it easier to hitch up a trailer.

Exterior highlights

The 2025 Ford Maverick will have a restyled version of the confident design in the 2024 model. With its contoured lines, assertive grille, and attractive wheels, the Maverick has its own unique appeal. The SuperCrew Extra Short Box body style offers Stoneboro drivers a generous amount of space for passengers and cargo. The Maverick for both model years will be equipped with a 4.5-foot bed that lets you fit up to 18 sheets of four-by-eight-foot three-quarter-inch plywood without having to load them at an angle. The bed in both the 2024 and 2025 Maverick will come with a 12-volt power outlet and a 110-volt outlet as an available option.
